    I am stopped at the Pilot in north stonington CT for a splash of fuel to get me thru tonites run.

    I haven't stopped at a chain truckstop in years. I haven't forgotten why :(

    However, come January I’m whining like a little girl about it being below freezing while @Zeviander and some you other guys are dealing with 20 below, so there is that.

    It's on the hotter side of things, yeah, lol. But we get swings between 90°F and -40°F through the four seasons, so it's more the extreme change that is harder to deal with.

    Yeah, working at 0-10°F is almost pleasant at times. You never have to worry about getting overheated while tarping and the tarps don't freeze into solid bricks like they do at -30-40°F.

    5-60°F is my ideal working weather. But as long as the temperature stays away from 32°F while I'm driving, I'm happy. That's when things gets scary.

    twenty or 30 days per year above 90 F per year and 3 to 7 days above 100 F is the normal.
    @SAR is 90 miles south of a 375 mile line between me and @Zeviander.
    the main difference is the humidity, mine averages about 40% in summer and @Zeviander averages 55%. It is the -40F for 20 days average in the winter and wild swings that is the challenge here.
