9 days of no work is usally normal, after 1 year, it will be 8, after 2 years it will be 7 and so on...your company is way too generous

You have access to cash right? I'd be looking at your options. Had a DI called 1 step. He said always be 1 step ahead. That man taught me more about life. Observe, Adapt and Overcome. Semper fi

    I have questions:

What did your boss say about your sitting after the first 24hours? When and what was the last thing that anyone involved in dispatching you said to you?

While you were waiting, did you line up your next gig?

    Did you travel light?

After the first 4 hours of waiting, did you start blowing up their phones demanding updates?

    (end of questions)

Don’t mean to be offensive, but if you have just been sitting quietly in the truck, you deserve what you got. Too late to make any noise. You have to make a decision for the indecisive. Tell them that you are heading back to the home port to give them their truck back.

I'm low on cash. I'm new. Like 8 weeks in. What happens is I get a load from home in Ohio .then they have me deliver out of state. I sit a minimum of 5-6 days before getting a load. I make money one week, zero the next. This can't be right .

You're getting the shaft. Bring their truck back and maybe don't be too polite about quitting.
