Problem is, you might get your cdl in one week, but be extremely difficult to be hired anywhere. Not impossible, but very difficult. Most companies want 160 hour course. Some like Navajo Express might drop that down to 120 hours.

Some food service might hire you with that, then put you in their driver trainee program.
Sygma Network is one of them. I'll see what else I can find.
Gate Gourmet might hire you as a driver trainee. They're a union outfit that delivers food carts to passenger airlines at the airport.

Try Watkins-Shepard, which is owned by Schneider. There is a terminal in Las Vegas.
Sometimes they'll pay for a short 40 hour refresher course then hire you.

Roehl Transport may still have cdl school in Phoenix.
They pay students $500.00 weekly while in classroom training which is 3 or 4 weeks.
Roehl also provides meals & lodging during school.
The problem is, they hold back 3 weeks pay in the beginning, then give it to you at the end of the 3rd week.

Is this one of those indentured programs?
-
So you suggest IF I took that one week course to then reach out to them??
-
Some people refer to it as that; I just look at it as a stepping stone to get to where you really want to be.
Some companies with an in-house cdl school and a contract pay really well and some don't. -
No, reach out to them now.

Thats a route Im contemplating, would you happen to know of one here in Las Vegas or nearby? Phoenix? Id love to be an o/o one day
