I have been through that series of roundabouts, in a car, and it isn't as chaotic as you might think. The big difference there is that roundabouts are commonplace in England so everyone knows how to navigate them correctly.
The issue with US roundabouts is that they are alien to many drivers so you often get people not knowing the correct way to enter and exit them, and who has right of way etc

roundabouts are a British invention i think they work great for cars however the poor old truck driver gets stuck when one approaches and has to stop to give way and cars keep shooting through i hate roundabouts for that reason yes best way for a big rig to navigate through is put one wheel in either lane and plough on through.Numbnuts69 and krupa530 Thank this.

Most of these I’ve encountered are not big enough for a truck to make it around without encroaching another lane. If it’s a one lane type just stick to the outside as best you can. If you run your trailer on the curb it won’t damage the curb or your tires. Those are sloped and not like a normal curb on a city street. If it’s a two lane type, I split the lanes so no one can get around me. Otherwise, at about 180 degrees you’ll take the front end off of a car.

It ISN'T just the roundabouts.
It's the mouth breathing idiot engineers that design brand ####ing new turn off to brand ####ing new facilities. Case in point:
In SE OKC there's a shipper/receiver I go to frequently. In order to enter the yard I have to go off-road at a 20° angle before I sweep left into the gate.
Even then I have to have at least 3rd gear and GUN IT when the gate opens, so my spread axles don't drop into the 6' deep culvert. It's insane how tight entries are to BRAND NEW locations. -
No one roundabout is built the same. I've seen some on US highways in Wisconsin, on the same highway, with different circumferences and widths.

4 ways on, straddle lanes coming up to it, if its busy an people don't want to let me in they get about 15 psi worth of air horn as I grab a hole and let off the clutch, take the whole #### thing for myself, watching mirrors and idiots that think I'm turning out but actually continuing around... This gets another healthy dose of air horn...
Once went around a super tiny one, I wanted to turn left, so the truck went around to the right until it came to the left exit... The trailer axles didn't go around the center island, they stayed on the left. I had to stop part way around to let 2 cars go around the back end of my trailer so I could complete the turn.
