Had 3 Ears of the Sweet Stuff tonight, it's really been great this Season

 

@SAR does planting like that mess with the flavor or doesn't it cross pollinate to much?

 

This is the first time we tried this and it turned out good. It has real good flavor. The sweet corn variety we planted pollinates a bit sooner than field corn so there is no big risk of cross pollination.

Did the rest of em look ok? No scuff marks except for the one with the hole?

I ain’t the smartest fella, but I don’t see why you can’t use some N-14 slugs n jugs. Steel tops so you don’t have to worry quite as much about that pyro.

I’ve been at the sand plants with em but never really talked to any of em.

I guess being a steel hauler on Saturday is easy? Any other week day there would be 15 to 20 trucks in that window.
