Why do drivers stare at you at truck stops?

I prefer to let people try a bit first. You will never know where your trailer blindside is unless you get out and look. You won't learn anything from watching my hand signals. If it looks like you will figure it out, I will let you.

Some people like to run over and be an unnecessary "Hero", i'm surprised that wasn't your issue.

 

You were probably the 10th person to try that spot, they were just wondering how quick you would give up.

 

I stopped at the Pittston Pilot once. ONCE.
