I know they ratified a new contract last month but not sure what it consists of

 

Hopeully it's better than how they did the guys at my old job. They took away their 4 on 3 off schedule and went to 5 in 2 off. They also took away their O.T. pay so all straight time and their insurance went up. Glade I seen the writing on the wall two years ago.

 

Been with L&E now for 6 months. Great company to work for, seems to be the last of the Teamster tanker companies left. Good pay, awesome if you consider the full benny’s and pension. Mike in PDX is a boss to work for very fair and easy going. Keep in mind it is union so you are starting out at the bottom of the food chain when it come to work but they do keep you busy.

 

I park in the same yard as them. A few gentlemen that will probably be retiring down the line. Maybe I’ll go back to transport someday. Doing tankwagon currently.
