Need opinions on LTL company's

Not sure about feeders. Something close to $40 an hour and around $10 an hour into the pension but that’s just a estimate based on what I’ve heard.

 

Dang.... they were hiring for feeder cover driver a while ago in my area. Starting pay was $26.16 and had to be available to work 7 days a week at anytime.

What the hell kind of insurance cost $3600 a month? I pay a tad bit over $100 a month for ALL of my benefits, health, dental, vision, life insurance, i checked every box and maxed out all coverage's and Im still only paying about $100 a MONTH. I dont know where you are getting this info that employer provided health insurance costs thousands a month.

 

What’s the schedule like? The barn I’m looking at advertises the OTR Regional 5 on 2 off deal.

 

He's talking about buying the same coverage on your own as what UPS offers. I don't think it would cost $3600 a month but I could be wrong. My guess is around $2500 or so. Maybe a little more.
UPS plan is BCBS $0 deductible $1000 yearly out of pocket for single $2000 for family. $10 copay for doctor's visits. Unless you go to CVS walk in clinic there's no copay.
Prescriptions are $1 to max $5.
If it's considered maintenance...something you need all the time, then it's $0.....free.
Many procedures are 100% free.
Having a baby is 100% covered and more.

It's definitely not cheap.
