Ok I normally don't run Baltimore so Im wondering if the route they gave me is a good route,

Ill be picking up on Erdman ave right where it splits off on Northpointe blvd.
Heres the route I was given....

151(northpointe blvd) to US 40 WB
    E Monument ave WB
    S. Kresson st SB
    US 40 WB
    MD 2 SB
    E Lombard st WB
    S Howard st SB
    395 to 95 S

Its taking me through town and ill be heavy and wide. I just want to make sure thats a decent route.....

    No. That sucks, frankly.

Wow that's a terrible way to go.

Better option if you want 95S is to take US40 to 695S all the way around to 95S. Takes you arround the southeast side of the loop and over the bridge so you avoid the tunnels. If you don't want to pay tolls you could go around the northwest side but it's going to be significantly longer.

That’s definitely a better idea, but if he wants to hit the south side of the beltway I would suggest going south on North Point Blvd towards Dundalk. He can pick up the beltway easily about 3 miles south of where he’s loading.

None of that matters. You go by the routing on the permit.

Problem is, the routing he originally mentioned takes him straight through the heart of downtown, which is basically a giant “no through trucks” zone.

Yes I’m just delivering on the west side of DC in Virginia. I asked to go through the Ft McHenry tunnel and apparently was denied. I’m gonna call in the morning and just see if I can get a revised permit to go 95n to 695 West

    THAT is a tough route.

I rather him use North Point to get the Beltway and then around the City sometime between say 10 and 2Pm. Or after 8PM. If he's going to VA hes going to have to do it on the 301 bridge (Which is small) DC or US 15 or even 66 to 81. (ugh)

Anything you can do the stay the eff away from Monument and Route Two is good in my book. Erdman does not bother me that much between 40 and East towards North Point. It's trucking country.

Not much. Maybe 40 minutes in non rush roughly. It's only about 100 miles circle.
