Yep 1855. Seems like we drive it standing as much sitting. Actually pretty nice to stand and drive

 

Mine has the tilt & telescopic steering as well, a great design! I knew it was bigger than my 1550 just not sure what it was.

 

Heads were done in June of 17, as well as a out of frame rebuild. That's why I'm sick at my stomach lol. Trying to cover all bases, don't need any unforeseen problems out of the gate or any time.

 

@OLDSKOOLERnWV don't know if yer up for it but check IPD and see if they make a steel piston for your setup. I know they do for cat not sure bout cummins. Maybe get away from the alum skirt and alum piston design.

 

It's only Tuesday and I'm ready to get back at 'er. I think next year I'll save more of my holidays for the colder months.

 

Steel piston would sure allow for some cool mods lol. Thank you

 

Got the front cover ready this morning... new accessory drive bushing, tapped threads in the bolt holes, double checked all the oil passages with a blow gun. Mud dobbers cause big problems when things set out in the open!

 

My buddy with 82 ext hood A model got it to Kentucky yesterday. He borrowed my 5th wheel wrecker to save some $$$. The A model is getting a new heart, a C model Cat. Think he told me it was getting 27% over bigger nozzles...? Lot of tweaks for BIG ponies. @wore out @superhauler
