Just wondering what you guy's Prefer, an why? Do you like driving at night or day? Im going to say i like night time more better, due to less traffic an seem to be more freedom lol. Downside really have to look for your stops, exits, an what not. Other than that that's what i prefer:biggrin_255:

I like driving during the daytime. Get a start really early in the morning and play in the traffic. I like seeing the scenary and it is so much easier during the day. Traffic and congestion never really bothered me. It's all about timing. I mean you don't go into atlanta after 3 pm on a friday or your gonna sit. You really just gotta plan ahead more when driving during the day. Plus i don't like driving at night for the reason that if the truck breaks down on the road it seems to take longer to get anything done.

I definitely preferred driving at night. From midnight to 6 am was my favorite time to roll. Very little traffic on the roads, the CB was quieter, very enjoyable.:yes2557:

A lot of times freight(pick up and drop of times) will be the factor on what time you drive. They both have there ups and downs. Nighttime is great when you can get in and out of big citys before rush hour. Downside, myself and a lot of drivers I talk to say the same, between 0400 and 0600 is hard to stay awake no matter how much sleep you got. Daytime plus, you get to see everything, easy to stay awake, c.b. Is always buzzin. Downside, traffic and harder to find parking at the end of the day. For me, I like to mix it up.

For me it always depended on when the load could be picked up or dropped. if I had my druthers i usually drove during the day on the open road and liked to get into and outta the cities at dark thirty. less city traffic less ####'s to deal with. It usually didn't work out like that but that woulda been my choice. I just simply hate rush hour, whether I'm in a four wheeler or an 18 wheeler.

My guy prefers nights due to there being less traffic and most construction is done during the daytime as well. So less reason to be slowing down on the highway. Then again, he is a night owl like me.

Yea i agree, there is way more less traffic and stupid stuff to deal with. Glad im on night's again, i have noticed it is easier to get tired driving alone on some cases lol. But other than that i love it:biggrin_255:

    i PREFER days.
    better scenery
    less "critters" creeping about
easier to stop and eat at 1PM than 1AM
2-3 AM till sunrise is as stated above!!:biggrin_25518:
plan well and you dont get delayed too much by traffic.
although i DID opt the other day to go on break and start at 0100 rather than going through ATL at 5 on friday afternoon!!:biggrin_2554:
NIGHT seems to have more courteous drivers
better conversations on CB but HARD to see street signs/landmarks in the dark.
