Why don't you try reading comprehension. Or is that beyond you too?
There simply isn't enough information so any response is a guess.

I read the first 5 or 6 posts and I think the question has been quite adequately answered. So I just chimed in on another post. If you referring to me. Well excuse me.

What more information do you need? There is one important piece missing to the first question. Because some CMVs do not require a CDL we do not know if this person is asking about them. However that last one has enough information in it and that is flatly false!DRIVERGIRL Thanks this. -
was it a dodge (what they call a ram now??) can't tell you how many fairly new ones i have seen with rusted bed corners or wheel wells...DRIVERGIRL Thanks this.

Thank you for your time.
To your questions:
No passengers
Just 1 company
Vehicle between 10,001 and 26,001
Refrigerated freight
Only non-CDL vehicles
No Haz-Mat
Delivering through different cities -
To answer your question - yes.

Fully agree now that we know that last piece of information. People sometime confuse CDLs and CMVs. CMVs for the purpose of a medical card and HOS is defined as one 10,001 or over. However that last part is false though. It does matter what you are driving. DOT regulated, NO! DMV regulated to keep CDL an active interstate license, YES!DRIVERGIRL Thanks this.

If your drinking and driving your car, your at the .04 limit for BAC . If you have a cdl.

This is true, however it is a license regulation situation. For the purposes of DOT regulations it is strictly based on what type Vehicle you are operating. Many times I got home and parked my truck either almost out of hours or close to it. Once I got in my POV however ALL DOT regulations as far as operating that vehicle go away. I think this is the point of the OPs question. If I am wrong I am not understanding that question.77fib77 Thanks this.

Well it depends on the state. My state is screwed up on what is a CMV and what is subject to the adopted regs. It can be as low as 4500 lbs GVW up to 10,000 gvw with three other weights in between.brian991219 Thanks this.
