    We have suspension dumps and inter-axle locks :)

    We have quite a few variants of trucks so the suspension dump is super handy when we swap trailers.

    @Rugerfan

    Oh here’s a fun one. Freightliner has some sort of safety reminder if you open the door without the parking brake set the truck will honk three or four times at you... makes those days scaling out on a CATscale or at a shipper really exciting let me tell ya.

    I was always tought to not set the brakes while scaling... unless I’ve been doing it wrong.

    Gonna try some gummies for the first time since high school, thanks to a select few members on here. My wife thinks I’m crazy.

    She’s right.

    I’ve done it both ways and don’t really see a difference. But I haven’t been trucking very long either so who knows.

    Cat scales.....we always just used the same scales for cats, bass, bluegill, crappie.

    Remember back in the early 70's this fella invented a new qizmo that would roll the skin off a catfish. He showed up at the lake and we watched his little demo. Took about 15 minutes for him to prep that old cat but his new gizmo sure nough rolled that skin right off.....

    Then uncle Bob pulled a pair of pliers outa his back pocket and cleaned the rest of the catch in about ten minutes.
