That is heavy for a Cascadia from what I have heard. I was always told they were one of the lighter trucks on the market. Oh well...
Company truck is surprisingly heavy.

Mine has an APU at 400lbs. Not sure if that changes your mind or not.
-
No, I have always heard they are around say 18,000 lbs with fuel. I guess I have been hearing wrong. I don't own one, did have an 05 Freightliner, I think it was a Columbia. No skirting and a Tri-Pac with the Detroit, 500hp and 13 speed. She was right around 17,000 or 18,000 lbs with full tanks if I remember correctly. I know it was lighter than my Volvos.

that weight is almost identical to the daycab macks we run. interesting. mine is a 2012 pinnacle.

So with a trailer you are about 33-34,000 tare? That is on the heavy side, but not insanely heavy. If you can get 45,000 lbs on the trailer, I don't think anyone will care besides you (it will make it a little more of a hassle).
46k rear ends, big sleeper, steel rims, heavy duty frame, big headache rack, APU or other auxiliary equipment and big fuel tanks will definitely all add up.
I can tare around 30,000 with an all-aluminum flatdeck in my C-13 379 SH. 38k rears, 13-speed, all-aluminum rims, single frame, 63" flat top... it was built to be a lightweight and I love it. A couple of our pneumatics and I can get 51-52,000 lbs in the tank. -
We run all aluminum Reitnouers mostly. Amazingly I tare in around 32k with 3/4 tanks.Zeviander Thanks this.

Prostar cabs are still made out of steel so that should answer it for you. They are the heaviest ones out there in comparable size. The weight you are saying doesn't surprise me one bit.
-
Even with a 53' aluminummnum flatbed you can still haul 49-50k, 49 with a step deck. How much do you need to haul?
-
As much as l can! lol as long as it pays good

Casper is 34,700 with a van, chains, half tanks. Cascadia's are not light lol.
Crude Truckin' Thanks this.
