Serviced the truck this morning. Found a wheel seal leaking fixed that and a broke stud. Reckon i need to go get empty so I can ride to the east coast to load for the west. Hopefully find a little give a #### on the way

 

I hate everyone including the wife !!

 

I hate that. I’ve come to the conclusion that the root problem is that we service our trucks. I’m starting to think if we just fire it up and take off every day things will be fine. Till that steer wheel falls off and I run off the cliff and into the river bottom, at which point I will be unable to care anyway.

Anybody got any fact based opinions on the new duramax motors? Best friend of mine has 23k on his new onebone stock says zero problems.

 

They cost too much for a GM product.

Honestly though. None of my close friends have one, we’re all 6.7L Cummins and 7.3L Boat Anchor Guys... the rumor mill talks though. GM encrypted the ECU so tuning the L5P is difficult. Early models had wire harness and transmission issues.

2019 should be as solid as any other modern diesel.
