    That’s a slippery slope, you always forget someone.

    Figured as much. Hooking to a regular flatbed for Ron must be the equivalent of me going home and grabbing the motorcycle trailer with the Ram.

    I was more or less curious how the truck felt empty. I’d imagine the suspension feels heavy yet he also runs a much more built-up truck than I’ve ever been in...

    Those were never my cup of tea. My mother in law, God rest her soul, loved them though.

    Some people call those “peelers” around these parts.

    Depends I guess, I run a very similar setup to his maybe identical (don’t remember his specs exactly). I have a 20,000 pound front and 46,000 rears spinning 4:30’s. It rides rough no matter what. My Pete was similar except it was Airleaf and 3:90’s it road a lot better. Decking up your jeep and stinger affect everything too, same gross weight but rides, stops and pulls different.

    I’m at...O’Lucky Truck stop on US59 for the night....

    Surprisingly clean inside and it has a Dickey’s BBQ joint...

    I was worried when I realized I may be the only truck in the lot till I checked it out...

    4 hours boys. 4 hours for Mexicans to get 18 pieces of pipe on the wagon. Could’ve cut my time down if I spoke Spanish and was less of an #######. But that ain’t how I roll.

    @wore out

    Nice place for a 10 between Blytheville (550miles) and Cape Girardeau (630miles)...

    Bonus points if it has a sit down restaurant and a pretty waitress to stare at...

    @Oxbow,

    Notice in the cb thread how you pretty much figured it out on your own? Any questions you ask you get the Poindexters all falling all over themselves to do their best Bill Nye the science guy impression.

    Scientist #1 will suggest buying a $400 analyzer and can’t talk to the back of his sleeper fairing.

    Scientist #2 will bore you to death with coefficients, sin waves, radiation patterns. Hey NASA, I just want to talk to an escort vehicle a couple hundred feet.

    Scientist #3 will tell you to test continuity between the shield and the ground, blah blah blah I never knew how poorly my radio worked until a ray of light shone down on a burnt out pothead Cb tech in Tucumcari. Now,a converted Scientologist, my chakras help my radio receive.

    I’m not sure what the scientific word is for mud ducks, but those are birds of a feather.
