Just make sure your overall gross weight is 80k or less (I am assuming your hauling a divisible load). If it is over a 80k and non divisible then you could permit it - probably. This makes the assumption you are not in a state that allows divisible loads over 80k.

 

One thing that stands out in my mind about the MBN were broken rocker arms. I knew a few guys who busted a couple in the first year or 2 they had them. All stock programming too.

 

Since we're on the topic of engines, any advice on overhauling a 3406A? Just kind curious about the spacer plate and head bolts. Are they re-useable or should they get changed once the head comes off?

I drove 8v92s in the 1980s. I’d love to get close to one built a knowledgeable person like Oldskooler. Go for it. I’m watching and waiting.
