I started at a mega carrier, within my first 7 months of driving I'd been to every state in the lower 48 except Maine, Vermont & New Hampshire. I've seen some beautiful things, discovered where I HATE driving (Dallas), and truly seen the country. My boyfriend and I run team, since we basically live in our truck we've decided to take "home time" in some of the cool places we've discovered... I'd still like to visit Alcatraz, you can see it from the interstate when it isn't too cloudy.

If you ever decide to go see Alcatraz, make sure you get reservations weeks in advance. Pick a town close by to park your rig in an industrial park for a weekend then bobtail someplace and rent a car. I would suggest a town in the north bay because they are safer. There aren't any truck stops in the bay area.
