If you willing to run at least one weekend per month you will do fine. You could probably clear 40k first year, and make 50-60k 2nd year and on..

Im in Georgia I went to school for driving out of pocket and now Im trying to find a job. So is 2 weeks orientation and 5 weeks of training regional a good experience. It seems like the best fit for me also they said I can be home on Fridays mostly every week. The pay doesn't matter that much at least not more than the experience because I prepared myself for a downgrade in pay as long as I'm making 600 a week I can survive for a few months. Only thing I have is that I get my daughter every other weekend and I like to be active on Saturdays and Sundays because my younger brother plays college football and he is very good like NFL ready and its a family thing and I wouldn't want to miss his last year of college. But I mean I can sacrifice but that would be the only thing that I would be worried about Mon-Friday they can send me to the moon and back as long as i can be home on those saturdays . So do you think I would be home Sat?

Good money to be made where you are. Keep in mind where you are at won't really make or break your money making ability a whole lot outside of how you're set up for the following week with the load you pick up Friday for Monday delivery. You most likely will venture a handful of states away from Georgia the majority of the work week.

Responses to your concerns in bold.

Thank you but unfortunately I didn't get accepted into TWC I don't know the reason my MVR has 0 points my last ticket was 2015 and 2014 and that was it no DUI no Background so I don't know . I really liked what they were talking about and felt comfortable so I guess I'm going to try SWIFT flatbed out then. I already got a orientation date for them also I got offers from Western Express and US Xpress . Western seemed real shady somehow like you send me to Nashville and for my first 2 days I don't make nothing then you pay me 50 bucks like ####. LOL I do need some type of money I can eat 50 bucks in a day. US Xpress seemed cool but I just read a lot of bad reviews, and the career Im in now i'm a super vet not I'm transitioning and I'm a super rookie all over again so I don't really want to be somewhere were Im going to get messed over on and then have to learn after making a a grave mistake. But at least Swift is in Atlanta so my training is done here and I can go home.
    Thank you

If you are really eyeballing flat bed, you need to consider Maverick before you even think of saying the word swift. I believe they do hire out of Georgia.

Western express is one of those bottom of the barrel company's.

Actually TMC called me back they said i put the wrong date on my last speeding ticket which was in 2015. I go to orientation September 10th Hopefully everything works out for my first trucking job coming out of the warehouse. Trapping and stuff should be a breeze I selected cases in 0 degree weather for 7 years picking cases of food and riding on a pallet jack and doing it fast because I was paid by my percentage. So next week is my last week then I'm taking a week off from working to get my mind right and to see family before I start this OTR trucking gig. I'm just hoping I make more than 850 a week. I don't mind being on the road for 5 days and being home for two I only get my daughter every other weekend and I don't mind running through one of my off weekends if the pay is good . Now I won't do it for 100 -300 bucks in that case I mind as well go home and enjoy myself. So what do people mean when they say run hard like from my understanding if you on the road and your not home wtf are you doing. I know me Imma drive that truck till the wheels fall off as long as i'm up and not tired. LOL

Good deal and good luck to you. Just keep in mind tarping a load can fight back and with the elements the time you think it can be done in just went out the door.
