(remember i use to drive and the last 8 years i've drove motor coach all around the country) ..And central i like because because i believe there will be less hand unloads (am i right?? ) who has the better equipment?? More miles?? APU's?? and any thing else you may think of ..... thanks alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! looks like i would start at w/s on 3/2 not sure on central

W/S is a good company with training second to none. Good equipment for the most part (except mine), and APU's on the newer trucks.
-
Watkins Shepard would be the best choice with out a doubt, much better company..
-
It's a no brainer!!! W/S for sure.
-
I don't work for W&S anymore. But, I would recommend them.
However, you didn't say whether "Central" was the reefer company (Central Refrigerated), or the freight company (Central Freight).
I don't recommend the reefer company, period.
But I would jump all over the freight company -
I read a lot of positive things about W/S here, I would go with them.
-
ive been to central training in fontana and they failed me on the 75lb lift they are rather picky on who they pass. If i can afford to I want to go with Watkins Shepard.

first off its a no brainer, 100 pages on nothing but good about w.s
not a single page about w.s being a bad company.
look how many bad central has.
secondly, how exactly does one fail lifting 75lbs?? -
Anybody have the scoop on W/S? Details about their training to get cdl and going with a trainer.... How long, cost, training locations, any details at all....
What do they mostly haul, what are their lanes?.... etc.
Do they still have an Indy terminal? (Havent seen many W/S trucks around here)......
I looked on their website, but not much detailed info. I'm gonna start reading the old posts tomorrow,:smt024 sleepy time now......
Thanks!
