Where is everyone #5

Funny, my boys are 8 and 5, the other day at Lowe’s I was trying to figure something out and they were acting dumb so I grabbed two five gallon buckets and made them sit on them and be good. I stepped back a few minutes later and they’re setting on the floor with the buckets on their heads, I wonder what people thought as they walked by.

Last night I started to hear some squealing and grinding noises from the bottom end of the auger we use to fill grain bins. I got it apart this morning and I know why. All of the ball bearings were missing and luckily it didn't damage the shaft.
I got a new bearing along with the pillow block so we should be up and running soon.

 

You are the man!!! How in the hell did you get that bearing race off the shaft?

I always have to wash one side with a torch to get them off

 

I used a posi lock puller. They work great. I had to give it a little heat and it slid right off.

 

Y’all don’t forget. It’s that time again.

Tomorrow I'm gonna get tacos at a place in mamaroneck ny on my way back from my am run.
I been thinking about them since Friday when my am run got booked.
Place that isn't on google; nobody speaks English, I found it by smell.
One of the girls was with me that day: I sent her with some cash to go get lunch while I circled the block. She got us beef tongue tacos. If she didn't tell me I'd not have known.

If I knew for sure they was open Sunday's I'd have went down today.

So they glue all the layers together then chisel it out for the finer points? or cut the pieces out a layer at a time then glue them together?
That's pretty cool tho!

…… Any idea how much one of them would run? I got a family pumpkin party in a couple months I could use one of those as a "host" gift for my folks. My dad would love it!
