I did not put anything on the spacer plate gasket , beginning to think I should have , but I have never before . I’m pulling the exhaust manifold now and going to turn over with turning tool to verify which cylinder
-
If I use anything it's that Indian head dressing. I have seen different sealers cause issues by squishing out under liner flanges. Sounds like you got a handle on it give us an update with what you findOxbow, peterbilt_2005, SAR and 1 other person Thank this.

Just turned the engine 2 complete revolutions , coolant coming out #6 exhaust port , pulling head as we speak

Once removing head all 6 fire rings on gasket blown , apparently was sold the wrong gasket for updated parts or bad head gasket ?

Can you post a pic?
Can you tell if it's from not enough crunch or too much crunch?
That's alot of coolant in number 6 for a gasketOxbow, SAR, Bsmith85 and 1 other person Thank this. -
If your protrusion was good across the board I wonder what compression pistons they sold you.
-
Here are a few , as you can see every one is blown on the exact same side .. and basically the same spot . What do you all think about the actual gasket material ? It’s literally falling apart and only has about 4 hrs of run time .

It's sorta common for that style of gasket to look that way after you torque it. I would look at the spacer plate really well and all the liner flanges really well. Then start from scratch double checking liner protrusion as well as head surface.
