I like everything neat and clean. I'm actually looking into putting a bulkhead plate inside the left frame rail, behind the cab. That way I can wire and plumb the entire back end of the truck and do the cab seperately. Then just trim up the airlines/wiring and just plug them in to the back end once the cab goes on. I'm all about doing everything easy and simple lol.

I'm likely going to update to a modern relay and fuse panel. I'm thinking I'll colour code everything in the dash though and I'm actually working on sketching out a wiring schematic for how I want to wire the truck.

Oh and that stupid SP switch is NOT going back on. Converting to full 12 volt system.

How about making it a 24 or 36 volt set up. Just reduce back to 12 volt after the battery.

    Tug Toy Thanks this.

Anybody know what I'd need to do to get these numbers? 465 would make this truck a rocket.

I'm gonna bet camshaft, nozzles and timing. With the turbo options of today you may do a little better

    I figured so :(

Not really wanting to spend big bucks to get there but if my cam is shot I think that'd be a real possibility. It'll be getting new injectors and possibly a new turbo though.

Can anybody recommend a good degreaser that'll eat oil that's been caked on for like 15 years? Tried hot water pressure washer and super clean on it when I first pulled the cab and hood. Need to get it spotless for when I pull it all apart.
