the CEO was only talking more points....you injected conjecture about the parking.

    mass hysteria is not needed.

that's why we used Flying J / Pilot never liked the TA's or Loves the exception being Petro at Reno NV it was an excellent facility. Keep in mind this is a business and its all about making money however they should really get the drivers on board by getting there opinions, the casino's have a good method of luring in potential customers by offering a free buffet to all truckers that bought $100 or more of fuel they figured while you were there eating you'd at least spend a little on the poker machines. TA could use the same reasoning give a little free parking in return for drivers parking there and spending money on food, and other supplies. The TA in Ontario, Ca. used to allow a few hours free parking or if you'd bought fuel then it was free, nothing wrong with that system and it helped you find an available parking spot.

I hope so. I get reimbursed for the paid spots. Anything to keep the riff raff at the pilot/ flying J's is good news to me.

Trucks, trucks, more trucks = more truck stops because of ELD's more parking needed, and off duty truck drivers will spend $$$ while parked. That's why Loves is building boo-coo truck stops every 100 mi ! There's a need, new truck stops are filling it, along with paid parking.

    Nope nope nope.
    Elogs hurts truckstops.

    But how Tuck?

Because elogger parks for 11 hours, walks in and grabs a meal and goes out and sleeps, gets up and gets a cup of coffee and leaves.

Paper logger parks, goes in grabs a meal, sleeps for an hour, buys a 5 hour energy and a coffee, pencils in a 10 hour break and leaves.
Another paper logger parks in that spot and does the same thing,
    Then another
    And another.

So elogger hogged one space for 11 hours while
4 paper loggers each took a “ten” hour break in the spot beside him.

Kind of free with that word truck stop ain't ya?

Now if you had said Loves is building boo-coo gas stations with a few spots I would agree.
