I was just over there typing when I realized that we were chasing each others tails here, go back to your motor mount page and look at the pic I posted. All of the bushings you posted pics of need replaced and are definitely worn enough to be contributing to your noise problem, pics 3,4,5,6 &7 all show signs of metal to metal contact, they all need replaced any way so I would start there, and no one ever believes me until they do it but if your chassis has more than 600,000 road miles on it (or 4-500,000 on-off road miles) replace the front cab bushings also, you will be amazed at the difference in ride/noise improvement.

How hard is it to replace the cab and motor mounts? My dad said on his 379 the motor mounts were a pain
-
Not too bad on my old 379 but on my t600 not so much. There isn't enough slack in the heater/a/c lines to jack the cab up high enough to get the new bushings in, so I used a 4x4 cut to fit and used a floor jack to hold the cab up and unbolted the bottom part of the mount from the frame, kind of backwards but it was a lot better than unhooking and or breaking the heater/a/c hoses.

I had Cat change the motor mounts last week and the drone is mostly gone! Now I'm thinking that the cab bushings are next and that should pretty well take care of it.

Good deal...

You still have that Grand Rock M-922?
Hows it holding up, weather,rust,performance issues,drone,etc. -
I know this thread is about 5 years old but if anybody has had one of these mufflers let me know you thoughts on their overall performance.
Thanks rb
