If all fire rings blown on same side I would be checking the reman head flatness from side to side. Might have been not milled flat.

I’m going to clean it up good in the AM and lay a straight edge on it and see what I come up with and let you all know . With all of them blown that makes a lot of sense on the head not being milled true .

    Oxbow Thanks this.

I was looking at those pics of fire rings. It doesn't look like you had uniform crush around the cylinders. If the deck of head has ANY "bumps" in it or ridges. It will need to be redecked. Make dang sure you have uniform protrution on all liners. And like @wore out said look very, very close for liner flange cracks. You should use a magnifier glass to inspect. Did you hear any kind of popping or a crack sound when you were to torquing the head bolts ?

I did not , finally verified the issue .. faulty head gasket . I cleaned every thing back up inspected everything , re- checked liner protrusion , installed new head set and assembled . Not one issue , truck runs great

Oxbow, bigguns, SAR and 3 others Thank this.
