Trucker61016, homeskillet and DevJohnson Thank this. -
There are only two two ways to avoid hitting a curb with your tandems if you're on narrow streets. Move further away from the curb before starting your turn (as in the oncoming lane if you need to) with your right turn signal on so cars don't pull up on you, or move further out straight ahead into the intersection before starting your turn (again winding up in an oncoming lane). If you're hitting curbs where there is plenty of room, you need another month with a trainer.
I'm not a super trucker. I just hate hitting curbs and messing up my alignment.Trucker61016 Thanks this. -
Happens, sometimes it can't be avoided, always makes me curse the engineers and their relatives, didn't that 4 years in school do anything?Trucker61016 and DevJohnson Thank this.
