Made it back to the yard. Couldn't find my truck to move my stuff over, guess it hasn't come back yet. Hopefully whoever had it didn't wreck it.

I just hope it's clean when I get it.

Not sure what I'm doing tomorrow, but I hope it's somewhere south of the 49th parallel.

Gotcha. Our trucks up here only have maybe 3 feet of frame behind the rear wheels. Its interesting to see the different setups you guys run down there.

He also asked me what time I started this morning and he had the ELD in his hand too. I’m like.... “ I just push the button and drive. I mean I think it was about 5 am but I was in a different time zone. So what 6 am on the eld?”

Maybe he was setting me up to purger myself?

I don’t know the whole thing was weird. I guess maybe I could of been his first CMV stop?

 

Yeah, lots of loads headed out that way this week. Heard there is some bad flooding down by the Dells.

 

Crazy but true story. Getting ready for work and someone is knocking on the door, I peek out and see it's a KSHP officer. I open the door and he apologizes for bothering me and tells me he hit the tail light on my truck with the mirror of his cruiser and broke it. So another officer shows up, makes a report and I try to tell him this can be settled easily with a handshake but he said they must follow procedures. So, I'm going to replace the tail light and forget about it....everybody deserves a break once-in-awhile, even law enforcement.
