One good way to practice and pick up orientation with your trailer tandems.
On bigger easy turns. Like to an on ramp to the freeway. There are lines painted showing your proper lane. Make turns without violating those lines. Treat them like curbs. It’s good practice. You’ll pick up your orientation quicker.

Don’t think a map will update me real time when a tight new round about followed by a residential neighbor is in my five minute future

Of course I can't speak for @Ridgeline but I suspect you missed the point of his comment.

Evidently neither will your GPS, and if you learn how to read a map correctly it will show a residential area.

    Read the whole forum?

Seriously dude, it is funny, you depend on a nav device to negotiate a turn.

    Really??

It seems like it was just yesterday that a driver was placing blame on a GPS for them driving out on a weight restricted bridge. Jeez some funny stuff.

He was complaining about the GPS unit on his QC not working. Then about making a right-hand turn. The QC and the right-hand turn are not related to each other.
