Anyone switched from LTL P&D to car hauling?
Getting tired driving around town all day and thinking to give car hauling a try.
Don’t really care about the “home every night”.
Talked to Hansen & Adkins and was told 2-3 nights and most weekends at home. Running So. California, Arizona and Nevada.
I know it can very from terminal to terminal. Anyone in So Cal working for them can give me the inside scoop?

I'm on the other coast. But just as a company they are one of the better ones. If my Terminal manager and I could have gotten along better I'd probably still be there. And pretty much everything they told me during the phone interview was spot on. Good luck.

    Banker and SoCalRed Thank this.

Was told CA, AZ, NV. Don’t think I’ll be doing 15-20 stops a day.
I think you are missing my point. I don’t expect not to drive in town.

Depends on operation obviously I like stops. I've done 10'-11 stops a day in car haul. Car haul is a love or hate deal, you wont know until you try it
