...looking for parts of all kinds for this truck. Can anyone here tell me a good source for a 1982 Peterbilt COE with an NTC-300 Big Cam II?

Cool! Where's the rest of it? :biggrin_2559:
Just kidding, 362's, even single axle's were great trucks, probably the nicest cabover you could get. Where are you at? There's a truck yard in central Co. that has one for parts, what do you need?

Nope, at this time it does not run and as far as I know hadn't been started for 15 years. So, little by little, I'm going to go through it starting with dropping the oil pan and inspecting the bearings. I'll also be switching out hoses, filters and belts. Fresh fuel and a set of batteries too.

That's funny! I know! I thought the same thing. It just does not look right so short and I am afraid to find out what the ride will be like but before I stretch the frame I'm going to make sure I don't screw up the value of the Pete.

At the moment, the Pete is in storage at Fitzgerald, GA. I'm currently in Maine and it'll be some time before I get back down there to resume work on it.

    Oldironfan and 201 Thank this.

Truck Pro and Fleetpride are good places to find parts. Peterbilt. I think they all have places around Atlanta. May even have places in Macon? Not sure about Maine? If they dont have it, they can probably tell you where to look?
