The confusion of the rest actually simplifies the path. It’s incredibly easy to differentiate a bull from a steer and a stallion from a gelding.

I wonder if the steers accuse the bull of being steeraphobic.

Had a friend that wanted to look at sidearms. Went to Cabellas. He asked to see the Taurus. He liked it. I asked to see the gun. Grip was excellent. Because I liked the gun, he didn’t like it anymore.

Ever have a friend that could turn everything into a pickle contest? Must be a young person thing...

Well, he started looking at $1000 Barettas and $1500 Kimber 9s. The Taurus was on sale $199 plus tax and background. I mulled around, and while my friend looked at guns he will never buy, i YouTubed Hickok45 to see if he had a review. He did! I really didn’t need another 9, but the price is awesome for a solid gun.

“Start the paperwork on that Taurus.”

I watched Hickok’s videos on the PT111 when I got the olive drab frame one last year for $200. It had great reviews and I put several boxes through it without a hiccup. The G2C was a nobrainer for the price, same gun with a few updates.

I now have three subcompact 9’s along with a slim frame LCP for my wife. I have some really nice guns that I hate getting scratched or scuffed, but I put a nic in that PT111 and was like “oh well”. I still want a 30-30, a nice 1911 by Wilson or even Kimber, and an M1Garand. That would complete my collection, at least that’s what I tell myself.

I forgot I still want that super Redhawk .357 to compliment my .44 Redhawk. Then my collection would be complete, lol.

If it wasn't such a PITA to get a handgun up here I'd love a .357 revolver or a nice .45 1911. Just wayyyy too many BS restrictions and crap to deal with. Gonna stick with 12 gauges and rifles until the Libs get voted out.

Let see, I have two. Mom bought one, father in law bought one, co-worker bought one, two cousins bought one. I think I could work part time for Taurus in sales.

I carried the Glock 22 on patrol, hated it. I carried the compact .45 Glock, it was better. Qualified in the academy with the Glock 17 Gen 3, nice straight shooter. If I were to buy a glock it would be the 17 or 19 or maybe the baby Glock but they don’t pique my interest, especially at $559.99
