Semi collides with Greyhound

Yea I get bridgestone or firestone, I've always been told Michelins have kinda thin sidewalls and might rub through a little quicker.

Most steer tires are rated at 70 mph... Hey, it's your life. And maybe my families. For what it is worth. Apparently, not much.

 

I don’t think anybody thinks a good pre-trip will save them from bad things happening. Some defects can’t be detected with normal means available to a driver. Then factor in all sorts of road hazards that routinely happen today and bad roads in general, crap will happen to some.

Best thing to do is live righteously, keep your family affairs in order and life insurance policies paid up, AT ALL TIMES.

 

The old bias ply tires would put up with that and more, don't get cheap knockoff tires and they'll be fine.

Tell that to those Greyhound bus passengers... I bet he was flying, I used to through there myself. Just saying.

 

What’s your definition of “flying”? I have an opinion about speed and safety, but so do the states. If a state says 80 mph is safe then I guess they know best. But I don’t think that fleet can run beyond 75 except downhill.

 

What do you call flying, I've never been through where this is to my knowledge, is it just off a mountain, I'm assuming it was a fleet truck not able to go over 70 under it's own steam.

 

80-75 speed for trucks? I doubt that. 65 here for cars and for trucks its 55. Slow the hell down
