2009 vnl random shut off no crank

two things make sure batteries are tight and check if you have a power shut off switch, if yes make sure you bypass it or replace it to try also check big breaker on top of batteries for cab power those are know to cause issues as well .

 

I had that problem on a KW years ago. Dealers replaced all big electrical stuff on that truck but it turnout to be one of the relays overheatting and turning off power and when cooled off it worked again. I spended over $6000 for a $25 part.

 

And the best part of the story is that a guy who figure it aut wasent a truck mechanic. He worked on car in his back yard.

 

I have a 2009 that just shut down while driving and I’m having a heck of a time finding the issue! Interested to know how this could happen. First time this truck has ever let me down! Annoying!
