Last I read they quit posting on account of all the negative stuff about cre, but was doing great?? This thread is like a soap opera. Virgil threw a fit and she bailed. Heck I did that just today. I was arguing with myself on where to do my restart and I thought about bailing.....

Hi Grandma Debi, I just wanted to wish you and Virgil luck with your experience At England. We entered into our adventure with all the hopes and dreams as you both have. My husband is an experienced driver and I am blessed to be able to ride with him. We leased a truck with the promise of between 2500 - 3000 miles. Our first 2 weeks out, we went in the hole, the next 3 weeks we struggled to get current and the next 3 weeks after going western regional we made between $29.00 and 188.00. We turned in our truck last Thursday. My husband worked for England for 4 yrs back in the early 90's and thought this would be a great place to work. We do not blame the dispatchers, they are also IC not the IC advocate is is also and IC or the recruiters, or most all the others that work behind the metal detectors. Most of them too are "running their own small business" I think instead the England family has forgotten what built their company. We were not out their to site see, and take pictures. We were out there to make a living. Instead, we are deep in debt, and now have a truck turn in on our credit. We have not given up on the dream of O/O as we speak another deal underway. We gained experience and will walk a lot more cautiously in the future. My heart is with all the drivers, my husband puts his heart and soul into his profession. He is a 27 yr veterine driver. No accidents! Has owned and operated his own remodeling business for 3 yrs. (our son took over) We hoped to start a small independent transportation Company. We are still going to achieve this goal just not with C.R. Englands B.S. Good luck to you both enjoy the ride and be safe.. oh and stock up on food for the road. and blakets...

Yeah they heard somewhere I wanted to buy a truck.

 

I and my wife lasted 7 weeks at $100 per week. over 600 trucks sitting everynight last I heard (1 week ago) it didn't matter if I was an "I/C". Being "god concious" I beleive if you don't work you don't eat. At CRE I worked my butt off and still had a hard time to eat. DM said "sometimes it takes crackers and peanutbutter to keep the truck in business". LOL. I told him couldn't afford the crackers...

I know he will deni this But, I met him when I was fooled by CRE recuiters and went to BurnsHarbor IN. Yes I met him, Or possibly he has a double. Humm I dought it. Im great with faces. He isnt a bad dude , but I thought company people werent allowed in driver forms, playing down all the truthful bad reports about Assorted trucking companys???????????????
In fact he was the guy I had watching me when I did my backing test. [ Yeah I passed no prob. ] He tried to convince me to stay there and not quit after id been there for a few hours [day 1] he offered me to drive team so I wouldnt be sitting around waiting for a truck. He told me he had some pull. I left because, I didnt want to sit and wait 2 or 3 weeks for a lease truck. And didnt want to be Co drv. or team. not for me.
I'm not telling any BS here. And by the way , he made a bunch of comments about my posting here. I let it go. He claimed I was basiclly full of it. Hey like I said at CRE he was acting rude or anything. Let me ask you this = How can I forget a 400lb fats face ??? Yes this guy is at least 400lb big fat man /cre trainer << to bad the truth hurts, but this is the truth. But I'm not blaming him for CRE and there crap. He is just a blind deciated X-drv. now trainer.
The big Problem here is ALL these companys are being run by Greddy closed minded A-Holes.[deck jockies] Who dont give a #### about drivers........... They know the recuriters are Lieing, in fact I wouldnt dought they tell the recuriters to Lie there butts off. This way the turn over never effects the CO. and the frieght keeps rolling.
There motto is = screw the drv. and make big profits, and keep co operating.
When I drove for awhile the CO also lied about mileage. But I must say they did pay correctly and they = meaning my dispatcher did spil the beans and said sorry but the mileage isnt good. OK my bad I didnt stick it out wth them.[my mistake].
This form has so many postings about certian CO's that screw the drv's. LOL they made the front page of the web site= warnings about trucking companys. And they never come off the front page. Humm ....
