The over fueling from the bad injectors probably burned up the exhaust valves and seats, now the valves have recessed up into the head. Unless the fuel was leaking through the top of the injector and not into the cylinder? Either way it sounds like you need to pull the head and find out why the valves are recessed.

Here’s update as per customer requests I put everything together. Test injectors no leaks. Engine run good I even find the way to adjust Jake brakes on cylinders4 and 5. Everything looks good. He booked and pick up the load to Salt Lake City. I talk to him when he was delivering load everything looks good. On his way back to Boise about 200 miles from last oil check he stopped for dinner and after dinner check his oil it was about inch above max mark on the dipstick. I just did injectors leak test everything looks good. When I check fuel return line got a lot of bubbles.

How are you checking for fuel in oil? Dye seems to be the best way. A leaking seal on gear pump, bad injector(s) or injector o-ring, or cracked head are main suspects. With have large amount of air in return, I would lean towards bad injector. Cummins sells plate p/n 3164001 to check for compression gas getting into fuel via bad injector check valve in injector.
pushbroom, mobilerepairboise and Justrucking2 Thank this. -
I got this plate, install new injectors, new orings, new pump seal last week

Air in the return is somewhat normal on an ISX. It is just turbulence/cavitation. Even the all-mighty Rawze says air is normal.

I know about air in return line on isx just never see so many bubbles it’s looks like jacuzzi in the bucket plus return line gets very hot
-
Hot fuel is also going to be expected as it is heated from the head.
-
.
This is not first isx I’m working on and this is first isx that return gets up 180 degrees with in 7-8 minutes after cold start. Even on 100 degrees day return line temperature don’t go up that fast. -
Super hot fuel is usually from being forced through a tight restriction.
