I'm sorry but this is why you buy manual transmissions.

I got a similar problem. My transmission wouldn't go into gear with a running engine, but I can hear it switching gear when just an ignition on. I got 2 fault codes 27 and 64. The truck has been towed to a dealer. Dealer tried to replace ECA but this didn't resolve the issue. Now he is planning to replace clutch and XY shifter. The truck is 6 month old with 59000 miles on it.

Is it possible for Clutch Disk to go bad on only 59000 miles? I never abused the clutch...

If the truck is still under warranty, and this is an Eaton product, the dealer is only doing what Eaton tells them to do. Code 27 is when the trans has opened the clutch, but detects the trans is still spinning with the engine. Code 64 is an electrical problem with the electronic clutch actuator. It breaks down to three different sub-codes of either loss of battery power, excessive current draw or internal failure. If he is getting the FMI-7 for excessive current draw, then the clutch itself could be mechanically jamming and not fully releasing. It is unfortunate and rare, but this can happen at any time and is a failed clutch. The other FMI's, 2 and 12 are wiring related, which is also more common. But it depends what it is logging.
