Some companies out here taking advantage of drivers not paying them what they worth or as promised at beginning during the hiring process and then switch things up once they have the driver by the Hook-have drivers sitting at the shipper and receiver for 4-6 hours unpaid for detention times and if they do it will be half of what the normal rate is. I'm not one of those so if that happened to me a couple times I'm out) ,)

 

It’s more to life than chasing that almighty dollar,I ain’t killing myself nor anyone else for it.. I have a life and obviously he don’t so if he good with running hard like that then let it be so

 

I guess you just have a lousy work ethic, poor time management skills and/or run in an area like the Northeast during the day which prevents it from happening. I've been doing this for almost 21 years and have never resorted to the things you've mentioned. What will you have to say next? I guess next you'll be calling me a liar or a Super Trucker. The fact that you couldn't even take the time to use an apostrophe tells me all I need to know.

 

You clearly have never been to places that have higher speed limits and open spaces. No need to "kill myself" nor anyone else to put down miles.

 

It just dawned on me that both of you are most likely driving trucks that can't break 64.5 mph so even if you did see an 80 mph road you STILL wouldn't able to see the miles we're talking here. That makes a big difference too. However, from the tone you guys are putting out you'd rather not make the extra money anyway so it's all good I guess. I feel very differently. I bought a truck to make money. I don't enjoy living in a box smaller than a prison cell for nothing.

you're being ridiculous . Just because you can't do something safely .you don't have the motivation the will nor the intellect don't assume everyone must impose limitation on them self . People are more capable than others imagine if everybody is like you.
