Show up.

To me that means get out of bed no matter how tired or sick or hung over i am. Just get out of that bed at the same time every single day when that alarm goes off and never hit snooze. That's the hardest part, and its all down hill from there.

No, but as a boy I was an elitest snob who didn't understand the value and nobility of work.

 

My daughter's whole family is on drugs or in jail. We adopted them. How is it when you see your parents, grandparents, aunt's and uncles all going to jail and living in squaller you think hmm let's do the same thing. You're broke and high living in a camper in the woods so you can make meth. No running water, no bathroom. Yup great life choices. Went to the court check in's they would all ask how the kids are and want to see them. Now you care but not when they were starving in your care. Then go back to talking about there state wide tour to visit all the family in different jail's while complaining about how it's not fair the state doesn't have them all in the same place to make it easier to visit them. Also have four kids before 21. I just don't understand how you can't look around and want something different. Doesn't compute in my mind. Sorry for the long rant but thought I would fit here.
