So the first new truck showed up on Friday. We took our best old one over for a check engine light to be followed up by the one we are trading in once the other is fixed.

Replaced sensor took it for a spin and hear something funny?

Pull valve cover and it’s got 3 bad lobes on the cam.......

So I guess that’s the one we are trading in now?

Out of the 4 ISX’s that’s the 3rd bad cam and one fried the engine all under 500k miles (15k mile oil changes). PLUS mine with a bad cam at 800k miles.

I wonder why we are going to try the Paccar motors? Can’t be much worse?

Used to be a Hardy’s there but the took it out for that stupid subway.
