USA Trucking or Prime

You might do some searches on this forum, I do not have any first hand experience with either company but have seen several post on USA Truck complaining about their equipment and service departments not being the greatest. Prime I dont know....I see their trucks alot and of those all looked fairly new and well kept. Good luck with your choice

 

I would suggest if you go to Prime do it as a company driver, you will probably be more relaxed at USA, but you would most likely prefer Primes equipment.

 

If you go to prime stay away from the lease program

 

With only 4 months experience, a lease is definitely NOT a good idea. Many would say a lease is NEVER a good idea, and perhaps in this current environment that is probably true. Prime is a good company. I started with them years ago and was treated very well. Their equipment it top notch, and they do keep you busy... although lately, of course everyone is sitting around some. Family situations are why I came away from Prime. Otherwise, I would probably still be there. Great company, great facilities, great equipment, and great people to work with.
