I was wondering the same thing. My dad just delivered in Alexandria which might as well be DC proper. It didn't go well..

 

He is so nice. I wasn't expecting the call, nor the person I spoke to. Man, what a nice guy. It would be awesome if there were more folks like him out in the road but unfortunately there aren't. It's hard to look around at these people and accept it in my mind that there are normal people walking around. All I see is flip-flop- sweatpants-wearing losers that treat people like garbage. No wonder the public hates us. I may not dress in a suit every day, but I definitely take pride in my appearance and hygiene.

 

I believe you have it in your profile privacy settings. You are absolutely a legend among older Millis folks that know your history. I really did appreciate your call, it meant a lot. Apparently I'm not the only person with two phones in their truck. From the sounds of it, you get as many calls as I do. Sorry for being so distracted at the tail end of our conversation. I was just exiting to a truck stop to fuel up and park. Just got a call 20 minutes ago that woke me up telling me that my load for 3am was canceled. Gotta love this crazy life. Again, please call me anytime. It would be fantastic to hook up and grab a beer and a sammich sometime. Be easy, brother.

 

Well, today was fun. I was supposed to pick up a load at 3am and busted my butt to be in a good position for this run. Got woke up by a phone call at midnight telling me that my load canceled. Needless to say, didn't sleep after that. My second cancellation this week. Spent the early morning hours tracking down a load for today and tomorrow to replace the revenue. I actually found better replacements but man I'm exhausted. Been up for 22 hours now. Sleep will come fast tonight. Hope ya'll had a good day.
