Depends on which Skillet and the cook on duty as to whether you can get good food. Oh, btw, the other truck stop I mentioned, JJ’s, her name is Kendra. 2nd shift, about your age... slim and pretty and a bit feisty, in a country girl kind of way. Review the Klingon Mating Ritual...it helps when dealing with feisty country girls.PoleCrusher, Crusader66, Shock Therapy and 17 others Thank this.

There is no reason for you to make LESS money to go do what you want to do? I meen you strike me as someone who is a smart hard worker with some common sense. You should be able to go almost anywhere and make more than where your currently at?
I don’t know Melton pay structure but I know how the corporate world works. If they are hauling sticks and bricks they can only pay a driver so much?
Good luck in your endeavors you will be just fine in what ever you chose.Crusader66, Shock Therapy, Zeviander and 16 others Thank this. -

Don't feel right running a large load in the dark. But someone had to do it !

there is a outfit north of me that runs a bunch of large rides: I've heard tell the owner says "give a young guy a largecar and you can pay him less every time"
I don't like that idea. Pride doesn't come from being somebody's #####. I think people that are paid well and get to run nice equipment are much more likely to be good long term employees with good customer repoire, positive/proactive thoughts and actions toward their job, and more likely to make themselves useful toward the positive growth of a company.
But it's just me: I'm not ####ing 2500 drivers out of a good wage to make an extra million a year.Crusader66, Shock Therapy, Zeviander and 21 others Thank this.
