Yes, you have to sit for a full 8 to do the SPLIT log. Be sure to log it in the sleeper.

How did dispatch make you move?
-
Thanks triple six that's what I thought! I've only been in the game for so long I still have a lot to learn but what better than to learn from the pro truckers that have experience it
-
Your right dispatch can't make me move that's on us I guess next time I will just say no haha whether they like it or not.

Be sure to take pics of the QC message to show the dreaded Safetyman. You’re still may get reamed out, but why get reamed alone? Oh, and play the Dumb Truck Driver card, “Well, I didn’t know that...the travel agent told me this.”
And one more thing...saying that some office jockey forced you to or made you do something against your will suspends the ManCard for 6 months first offense. Without the ManCard, you more vulnerable to the influence of snowflakes and sidewalk sissies and FearMonger sand morons. Be careful.NoBigHurry, whoopNride, NavigatorWife and 7 others Thank this. -
Just wonder if you could have stayed off the extra 2hrs on your first stop where you mentioned the 6hr off. That would have given you and 8 there, as long as you were off duty in the sleeper during that time frame. Shame on your dispatch for pulling that stunt.
