Warranty issue. Get used to it. Last month my switch got 10 miles from yard with brand new freight liner and it quit, just quit, no ####ing warning. I think freight liner incorporated all the #### out of 2012 pro stars into current freight liner models.

Their is 5 computers to run the truck I think. Freightliner should be able to fix it.
Their is cab computer and another for the trailer lights. The engine computer and probably an emission computer. That main super computer is behind the glove box that looks like a fues box. From what I hear that the main computer for everything.

They have been producing dpf trucks for 10 years now. Yet the gremlins are not fixed?
    Talk about a joke.

open the hood. there is a box called PTPDM on left side on splashguard(I am not sure what is the correct name of that plastic). there are few small fuses. check them. Under vibration these fuses crack and make problems like yours.

This is a good start. Beside the fuses, this module is also known to have cracked and broken bus bars that supply the power to the fuses. Stick a volt meter on various fuses and give the module a good tap or shove to see if the voltages get interrupted.

    Jazz1 and mhyn Thank this.
