And what help are you looking for... a way around the law?
Won't happen here.
But I'm really wondering why you would want to run those kind of hours.

Any stop over 15 minutes has to be logged, less than 15 minutes I don't log it unless it's a load/unload. If you stop for fuel and it only takes 10 minutes but you log it as taking 15, because that's the time increments on paper logs, that'd be falsifying logs.

But a 100% valid point. This isn't a troll post?!?

cancel my post.
Anyone know how to change your mind after starting to type a reply and not leave some sort of reply? -
They say "log it like you do it". I log all my crap stops as "off duty", then I also flag the location and write "crap stop" in the comments.

No. That's been regulated out of the HOS some time ago. In my time you could do 5 and 5 until your 70 is burnt. Not anymore.
When you team you have a full 11 hours to get that truck 6 or 7 hundred miles down the road. Your partner's job is to get some sleep and be ready to put in that same work. Both of you will be fueling once a day when she's running fast and hard. You will have the potential to cross the USA twice in 6 days. 66 or so hours each way.Big Grip Thanks this. -
From the FMCSA website....
Question 1: How should a change of duty status for a short period of time be shown on the driver’s record of duty status?
Guidance: Short periods of time (less than 15 minutes) may be identified by drawing a line from the appropriate on-duty (not driving) or driving line to the remarks section and entering the amount of time, such as “6 minutes,” and the geographic location of the duty status change.Big Grip Thanks this.
