Lord only knows we see an unprecedented amount of unhappiness and cruelty out here.

Yesterday going through New Mexico on the US 60 there was this tarantula.

He was motoring across the highway probably about as fast as a tarantula could go.

He was pretty big, and was probably a proficient hunter, and had crossed hundreds, perhaps thousands of miles of desert. Surviving countless battles with other tarantulas, scorpions, wasps, and who all knows what else.

He was probably crossing the highway to go see a lady tarantula.

So I see him, and I'm thinking "That's bad ###." And I go by him on the right.

Well, some jack ### in a Dart truck swerved "Like a boss" and flattened him.

I hope that Dart driver is reincarnated as an insect near a heavy spider population.

 

16. 16 hours a day in your FLD. You can hang out with the cool kids then on paper logs and talk smack about DEF trucks.

 

My brother and I used to ride snowmobiles a lot. One year at this lodge this giant wolf spider crawls up the wall from behind his bed.

He's getting dressed and I hear this "Oh my God."

He has this spider bite about the size of a 50 cent piece on his chest.

I'm lmfao thinking about it.

 

I did 3685 miles last week.

I think this is completely unfair.

 

You never see the eyes of the tarantula..........until him come callin' man.

 

I'm being unloaded now. Some guy named Moon Doggy or something like that.

He has more tattoos than clear skin, and a bunch of piercings.

Once he's done, gonna get truck washed, then inspected. So after I'm done with that stuff, I'll probably park until Tuesday as well. Load out tomorrow.
