    Have a friend being offered a regional gig. But I've been told that JB Hunt will change up and send you out unexpectedly. Is this true? She's OTR now. Wants more home time because of her child.

    JB Hunt is notorious for promising you one gig and switching you to another. You may start out local and home daily, then be told the “account fell through” and put on a regional or OTR gig where you’re out 5-10 days. Or “we need you on this account”, something completely different than what you agreed to. It’s a common story I’ve read in this area at least, maybe other terminals or regions are different but I’d doubt it.

    Tell her to get her foot in the door and suck up whatever they send her way until she's completed her probationary period. Then transfer to a stable local account like Home Depot.
