3 axles don't haul heavy??

 

Man I cant keep up with ya'll lately...

It's been raining to beat hell here the past couple days

 

Just watched the niners get their ##*es handed to them. Between that and the fires and road closures and road work, I can’t take much more of this place. Have a job interview and applied for an apartment in Portland later this week. Getting out of here.

 

I’ve got a dd15. Hate it.... pulling over 200,000lbs and it’s just way to gutless. Mines one of the older trucks at my work and was one of the first highway heavy haul trucks they spec’d so it’s kind of got everything working against it. 565 with 1850torque and 4:30 gears with an 18speed. It’s a heavy truck with my 8axle. 65,000lbs empty

For my legal gross loads... it does alright. I originally thought I had the 505/1650 variant but... surprise surprise its a little 455/1650. Does just fine, imo. I wish our gears were a little taller but it spins roughly 1450rpm at 65mph.

Have no complaints or regen issues. Granted, its a 2018 so I have the latest and greatest iteration.

 

Not too sure. They should be ordering them soon with the hopes of having them in the new year. Still in the process of getting opinions from the drivers. All I’ve asked for is a fridge, big motor, and a 4 speed auxiliary, 18speed, 4:30’s with a nicer interior and a bigger headache rack.
