They will let you take your truck home no problem.
I will have to ask codriver later where that guy lives that's looking for a teammate but definitely try solo 1st you may like that better.

im not looking to team, been driving 30 years and have done quite well on my own, I just saw somewhere that you have to leave the truck at a terminal when on hometime, even if you have to leave it at a terminal if you take a vacation, that would be a pain in the ###, spending time and money just to get home and back to the truck. Thanks for the info.

Yeah my bad sorry for the confusion I was answering to people's questions with one message it's always a bad idea the other guy was asking about teams and I knew you were asking about parking the truck at your house
-
no worries, just read on another DHT form that some driver had to leave the truck at the terminal on home time, maybe if you live close to one im guessing. Thanks again for the reply though..

There's another company on here called DHT Logistics which is not us.
We are DHT short for Danny Herman Trucking. -
Got My truck. I'm disappointed in its appearance. Paints coming off really bad in spots so it doesn't look that great. It has 405k miles on it too. My first load is going to a part of Chicago. Will I pass work on the toll roads out there?
-
i would say definitely yes. chicago city limit nortorious for tolls

If you live within 100 miles of a terminal then you have to leave it there on home time.
